Service Animal Guidelines at the Park

Service animals are a vital aid for many visitors, but the park maintains specific requirements to accommodate these animals effectively:

• Eligibility:

  Only animals defined under the ADA as service animals — dogs and miniature ponies that are trained to perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability — are allowed within the park premises.

• Verification:

  Park staff may inquire about the tasks performed by the service animal to confirm eligibility.

• Control:

  All service animals must be on a leash or harness and under control at all times. If planning to enjoy rides, the service animal must remain with a non-riding member of your party as they are not permitted on most attractions.

• Behavior:

  Service animals must display appropriate behavior. Aggressive actions towards other guests or employees may result in the removal of the animal from the park.

• Ride Restrictions:

  Service animals are welcome on select rides such as the Bonfante Railroad and Claudia's Carousel (chariot only). However, they are not allowed on water attractions like the Water Oasis Lagoon and ALL Water Slides.

• Relief Area:

  For convenience, a designated animal relief area is located behind the Apple & Worm ride. Additional details are available at the Welcome Center.
