Grab a Power-Up Band! These colorful wearable bands sync with the Universal app and let you collect digital keys and coins, complete challenges, and unlock surprises throughout the park.
Choose from six designs featuring Mario, Luigi, Toad, Yoshi, Peach, or Daisy!
Although you can explore the land without a Power-Up Band, you'll miss out on the full SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™ experience, including score tracking and friendly competitions with family and friends. So, we highly recommend getting one.

Take on the Various Key Challenges
With your Power-Up Band, you can navigate these four exciting key challenges in SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™ to earn keys and participate in an epic showdown:

Goomba Crazy Crank:
This challenge is simple in concept but requires some arm strength. Crank fast enough to launch a running Goomba off the spinning wheel.

Koopa Troopa POWer Punch:
Among the four, this is one of the toughest because it all comes down to precise timing. You have to hit the red POW Block at the exact moment when the spinning green shell emerges from the upper pipe, ensuring it connects with the POW Block.

Piranha Plant Nap Mishap:
The moment you begin, multiple alarm clocks will ring, waking the giant Piranha Plant. The objective is to silence the alarms and let the Piranha Plant snooze in peace.

Thwomp Panel Panic:
In this challenge, you have to quickly tap the blocks to turn them all to a single color (blue or yellow) before the Thwomp slams down and shuffles them back. Make sure that you have decided which color you want to make the board prior to starting the game.
P.S.:
Once you collect at least three keys with your band, you'll be able to face Bowser Jr., the secondary villain who stole Princess Peach's Golden Mushroom.
Defeat Bowser Jr. on a Final Shadow Showdown
Bravo! You’ve dominated three out of four challenges and earned the keys needed for the showdown.
Time to venture into Bowser Jr.'s hideout to reclaim the stolen Golden Mushroom!
Take your place in front of a giant screen, battling alongside other players. Once the game commences, your shadow will be displayed on the screen before you.
Prepare to use your whole body—hit Bob-ombs, avoid Bullet Bills, swing your arms to throw Fireballs, punch the ? Blocks, and leap to earn Power-Ups.
Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge – The Headline Attraction
Here it is! The crown jewel of SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™!
This groundbreaking ride with AR-enhanced goggles lets you drive through iconic Mario Kart tracks, collect coins, and throw shells to conquer Team Bowser and win the Golden Cup. It’s part thrill ride, part video game, and 100% unforgettable!
P.S.:
The queue itself is an attraction, filled with characters, colorful designs, and set pieces straight from the games. So, take your time exploring Bowser’s Castle before the ride!

Hang Out with the Characters
Surprise! Go say your greetings to Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Toad because you can actually meet and talk to these beloved retro video game characters!
It’s best to get in line around 30 minutes before their scheduled appearance. The sign near their meeting area shows when they will next appear.
